The Building is located in Balat neighborhood of Istanbul’s Fatih district, which is organized like miniature towns, with a tangle of cobblestone streets that run up and down, giving the sensation of being in a labyrinth loaded with treasures. The colorful Ottoman houses, some of which have been meticulously repaired, religious structures, small artisans, merchants, all contribute to the area’s distinct beauty.
